Cambodia Series: Review of Malika d' Angkor Boutique Hotel

Once I have business trip from Thailand to Cambodia. It's the first time that I wish to try 'hard way' of the trip. Using van from Bangkok to Phnom-Penh are now more challenge.

General road condition in Cambodia, The road damage by annual flood every year
In Cambodia the poverty person may getting rid of your cash in multiple ways. The first is do not hesitate and do everything in fast move to avoid problems. Even Thai has free visa when visit Cambodia but you may get loss of the cash in another issues anyway.

The biggest lost of my group is fine payment on Border Transportation Association. That they not allow to personal van to pickup at the bus terminal location. The regulation there are need to declare the trip before going there. Even Cambodian coordinator some are not aware of this regulations. The fine is costing around 3 dollars per person.

In the trip to Seam Reap, I have booking the Malika d' Angkor Boutique Hotel for 2 nights stay. Unfortunately the facility is some poor and a lot of things should be repair. My room need to move twice due to draining system and toilet is not working well.

The location is some far from night market but you can hire tuk-tuk to get there. Including you can find day-trip solutions from Hotel as well.

One thing that you will fell good about this hotel is the helpful of staff. They will try everything to keep you comfort and trying to solve room problems even they are lack of resources. If you have serious trouble with this hotel and you still upset, I bet you that you are the silent travelers for sure.
