'The Tower' the Hollywood remix of Asia

Just the chance after watching 'The Tower' that originate Korea films. First look on trailers is quite impress that Korea not even just country with full far develop in high-tech industry. But nowadays seems their movie industry is the next step leap forward more than Thai (it's me here) far to follow.

I just got DVD from rental shops in few weeks ago in 2013. The movies is launch since 2012 on Christmas day, that make a story plot were set in Christmas Eve but less snow. That's OK for the snow because they claim of less snowing according to the forecast news in first place.

The CG is looking grand and realistic of the building. I just wonder that the Asia continent has really good visual graphic working in Hollywood and now they really get back to home now.

But the movie plot is quite surprise due to we're not used to have multiple main character in Asia movies. My googling research found that the main plot is came from Hollywood film of 'The Towering Inferno' it's really the same after reading the plot.

What remix? If you watching in each major scene you may recognize these ...

• The firefighter welcome ceremony feel like Ladder 49
• The look and feel of twins tower concepts is likely to World Trade Center. The explosion and collapse debris.
• Set of people try to breaking back in to building after hang on cleaner crane, really look like John Mclain break into building of Die Hard (Episode 1). But the Korean building glass is hard to break that's make look real than Hollywood
• In the end of escape the explosion of main water tank. The team using water pressure for escape like 'Daylight' method.

Worst? of course not. This remix make the movies much more interesting and keep audience excites. Just don't care the negative feedback by saying you are the copycat if they are not even create their own in better way.
